Dr. Tracy MacIntyre is originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. There she completed her Bachelor’s degrees in science and in education at Dalhousie University. From there she went on to attend the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1998.
For the next three years, she worked at the world renowned Wilmer Eye Institute of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. As Instructor of Ophthalmology, and medical school faculty, she was the primary eye doctor for the Johns Hopkins Executive Health Program. In 2002, she and her husband moved to Charlotte. Dr. MacIntyre has two children and enjoys travel and spending time with her family.
