Dr. Ken Young

youngDr. Young is a graduate of Southern College of Optometry, where he was awarded the J.B. Lippincott Award for excellence in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular pathology. He joined Primary Eyecare in July of 1993 after completing an internship at the United States Army Hospital at Fort Lee, Virginia.

Dr. Young has also served as a clinical investigator for several contact lens and pharmaceutical manufacturers evaluating new contact lens materials, designs and solutions.

Dr. Young is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Contact Lens Society, the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians and the Middle Tennessee Optometric Association. He is a past president of the Middle Tennessee Optometric Physicians Society and has also served as a Trustee of the Tennessee Optometric Association. Dr. Young serves as an adjunct faculty member of the Southern College of Optometry

When not spending time with his wife Dr. Victoria Young and his two children, he enjoys hunting, fishing and competition BBQs.
